Treviso

Crossed by the clear waters of the Sile and its canals, Treviso is a small capital of elegance and good living. Its 16th-century walls, frescoed houses, arcades and the streams flowing between the palazzi have earned it the name ‘city of water’.

It’s also a food lover’s town: red radicchio, tiramisù and excellent wines all come from here. Strolling through the Pescheria, the fish market on its own little island in the river, or lingering in Piazza dei Signori is a genuine pleasure – just half an hour from Casa Fiorindo.
